HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The 32 Jamba Juice stores in Hawaii have been acquired by Blue Pacific Juice, a company that also owns and operates Jack in the Box fast food restaurants in Hawaii.

Effective January 1, 2013, Blue Pacific Juice, LLC acquired JJC Hawaii, LLC, the owner, operator and licensee of 32 Jamba Juice stores in Hawaii.  Blue Pacific Juice is owned and operated by Chris Scanlan and Eddie Park, who also independently own and operate 27 Jack in the Box restaurants in Hawaii.

The purchase price was not disclosed.

Jamba Juice entered the Hawaii market in June of 1999 and has 32 stores across the state. The company employs over 600 local team members.
