About Us
Our Story
Chris Scanlan first worked with business partner Eddie Park on Yum and Burger King restaurant brands at a large family investment office before leaving to establish Scanlan Management, in 2005.
They acquired Jack in the Box Hawaii restaurants from Jack in the Box Corporate in 2006 and then acquired JJC Hawaii dba Jamba Juice in 2013.
They opened their first Guam Jack in the Box in 2014
“The evolution of our Jack in the Box and Jamba brands was a successful 16-year labor of love,” Scanlan says. “I’m so proud of every member in our local team led by Donna Yano, who delivered world-class operations during the good and tough times. There has been a lot of learning and adapting along the way, especially during COVID-19, when our crew came together to keep our restaurants operating safely while serving great food. Meanwhile, we reinvested in our facilities, remodeling our dated units with local flair, neighborhood recognition and the latest technology.”
At the time of sale in 2022, their combined brands had grown to more than $100 million in annual sales, about 1500 employees and 61 restaurant units across the Hawaiian Islands and Guam, including a variety of drive-throughs, inlines and retail formats.
After completing the sale of his Jack in the Box and Jamba Juice Hawaii/Guam businesses during the fourth quarter of 2022, Chris Scanlan is now evaluating new franchise and license opportunities to develop food-service concepts in Hawaii, Guam and the continental United States.

Blue Pacific Brands Logo Art Explained:
“A Natural Boundaryless Perspective”
A limitless soft horizon. Where the water acquires the sky and the sky merges with the water. With Blue Pacific Brands this symbolizes forward momentum as boundless and vast as the Pacific Ocean with growth always visible on the horizon.
This philosophy is carried over into the logo font with an artistic interpretation of a broken tapering underline that flows naturally with the customized font creating more depth indicating the limitless soft horizon.
The “f” and the “i” interconnect to represent “mergers & acquisitions.”
